This is an experimental mirror service in Toronto, Canada for some software I either use or think would prove useful to other people.
To use this mirror specifically, you need to add these lines somewhere into your pacman
configuration:
## Quantum
Server = http://mirror.quantum5.ca/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch
You can add this into /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
. Put this at the top of the file to prefer this mirror.
If you are feeling really bold, you can put it in /etc/pacman.conf
, before the
Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
line. This will use this mirror as the default. Example:
[core]
Server = http://mirror.quantum5.ca/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch
Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
Note that HTTP is used since Arch Linux packages are PGP-signed.
However, you can replace http
with https
if you really want to.
Unfortunately, hosting this service isn't free. If you would like to help me offset the costs, feel free to send some money my way on:
